Me and my girlfriend used to love this place, the food was great and the portions were large enough to share one order together, prices were very on point and beyond fair. However, we had just went and everything the whole menu had went up in pricing and it is beyond a joke. 20+ dollars for a simple spicy poutine? And 18+ for a regular? Its a straight up joke from what it was before. How about instead of raising your prices? Give a smaller portion of food, you guys are putting an insane amount of food on the plate as is, so wouldnt you think to keep the prices the same but instead of jacking the prices to the sky, you give a smaller portion? You want me to pay 20$+ for what? I just dont get it, the place is small, dirty, zero parking, it is not a luxury $20 a meal type of restaurant.. I used to drive an hour+ from cranbrook, but now with the sky rocketed prices, I wont be returning. Nor will I be suggesting the place to my friends in the future like I have been doing.

Its obviously a very busy place, but they have made no attempt to add seating, benches or more chairs/tables to their restaurant to accommodate their customers. They are lucky to have such a great following, as Im certain this place wouldnt last in a larger city. Prices are very high for the quality of the food. Also take note that their menu says 1 piece meal which is actually 2 pieces of fish, and their 3 piece is actually 6 pieces of fish. Confusing... So people end up ordering more than they actually meant to (in our case!). Food also takes a long time to arrive considering its only deep fried... We would have spent our money elsewhere if we had known.

They ran out of Halibut, chicken, and shrimp. We had cod and chips. The fries were tough and extremely dry. I almost choked on them even with vinegar on them....they felt like they were putting pressure on my throat and pushing up! We all could not even eat a third of them. Pieces of fish in the batter were small and bland... was very disappointed for $12.50. The coleslaw was good!

Fish and chips were great! Lobster poutine was awesome! Service was really good. Overall I was very impressed !

What can you say about Tim's? It's always delicious and always friendly service. Excellent portions too
