Love this store in Creston. It is our "go to" place for all things hardware, small appliances, building supplies. We also frequent Claresholm.
Good people, Easy access. Decent hours. A bit much over-priced cheap decor products. Some DIY tools and supplies are just plain lacking...more aimed at shoppers than hobbyists or craftsmen, but good basics for building, especially pre-finished current fads.
The staff at Creston home Hardware is among the most incompetent we've seen. Having moved here from Vanderhoof 5 years ago we have been extremely disappointed. At first we thought we would give it some time ... maybe we just kept getting new employees, but no, there is no one there that comes close to being as knowledgeable and friendly as the staff we were used to in other towns.
Great selection and good sale prices. The guy at the service desk could have been a bit more helpful.
